The insta-analysis on Twitter of New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie's prime-time keynote speech at the Republican National Convention tonight can be summed up as the following: Vote Mitt Romney this year, but more importantly, vote Chris Christie in 2016.
The first mention of the 2012 nominee Romney came a good 20 minutes into the speech. The name of the former Massachusetts governor, who was watching the speech from his box inside the convention hall in Tampa, was mentioned a mere 7 times in the address.

Mitt shouldn't feel too bad, however. He earned more mentions in the speech than New Jersey did. On the other hand, Romney's running mate Paul Ryan warranted just two mentions. Two may seem meager, but then again, Christie could easily have been on the other side of that podium. A pair of shoutouts from Christie was enough to ensure he'd be the subject of more keynote time than that perennial convention favorite, "Nazi," which alas, Christie only mentioned once.
